EPOXY RESIN FINER ULTRA
Description
"FineR ULTRA" is a high-quality epoxy resin for very transparent, deep castings (up to 12 cm at 17°C). It enables the pouring of large castings and with its excellent air bubble release, very smooth cure and crystal clear transparency, it is an excellent resin for pouring epoxy "river tables" and deep pouring objects.
Epoxy resin for casting is ideal for pouring larger objects such as: figurines, stones, fragile objects. This resin can be successfully used for casting thick layers on: countertops, kitchen countertops, and castings of large-volume objects. Due to the slow hardening and long working time, any bubbles may escape. This also gives you time to make changes to the design if necessary.
FineR ULTRA epoxy resin for casting can be easily mixed with many different types of pigments, dyes, paints or powders. You can mix colors to get the colors and shades you need. Glow-in-the-dark powder can be added for unique effects. Typically, for the best glowing effect at night, use 5% to 50% powder.
Each "FineR ULTRA" epoxy resin set consists of 2 components: resin and hardener.
- Mixing proportion: 100 (resin): 50 (hardener) mixed by weight.
- Maximum layer thickness: 12 cm. The long hardening process allows for casting thick layers up to 12 cm at 17°C.
- Minimum processing temperature: 13 degrees Celsius. The lower the process temperature, the longer the curing time.
- Processing time (pot life): approx. 30 hours.
- Surface dry: approx. 24-48 hours.
- Full hardening after: approx. 6 days.
- Shelf life: At least 12 months, in closed containers at ambient temperature.
