Custom-made vacuum chambers

Once again, we have created a personalised vacuum chamber tailored to our customer's individual requirements. This time our client was a large scientific institution from Switzerland, and we made two stainless steel tanks for them, together with a lid of the same material, to be part of a process line for degassing barrels of epoxy resin.

The tank of each is 1,000 mm high and its capacity is as high as 380l, making it one of the largest we have had the opportunity to make. The lid is fixed to the tank with 6 triple screws. Each of the chambers is also fitted with an agitator along with a mechanism to operate it, which is located on top of the lid. The tank is also equipped with 5 flanges: 4 KF40 flanges welded to the side walls of the tank and 1 KF50 flange located on the lid. The whole unit is placed on wheels with brakes, which ensures mobility and stability.
