Alumilite Clear for casting applications
Description
Alumilite Clear is a crystal clear resin that is easy to use and great for a wide variety of clear casting applications. Its low viscosity and 1:1 mix ratio by weight makes it extremely easy to use. Vacuum or pressure is recommended to achieve 100% bubble free castings but minimal bubbles can be achieved by slowly mixing and pouring the resin. It offers superior polishability than other clear resins and able to achieve maximum shine in your finished parts. Alumilite Clear has a 7 minnutes open time and produces a high impact, optically clear casting that can be dyed or pigmented.
Alumilite Clear must be mixed 1:1 by weight. Off ratio mixing may produce hazy or frosted parts.
Note. The shade of the resin may change from batch to batch depending on the raw materials supplied. The shade of the resin in most cases will not affect the final casting unless it is used on a white background.
