Vacuum trap 12.5l, for infusion process, steel lid VT2523ASS
Description
Vacuum traps are a crucial element of vacuum systems, used, among others, in the infusion process during yacht construction and carbon fibre component manufacturing. A distinctive feature of our chamber is the aluminium tank, which combines light weight, excellent thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance. The steel lid ensures tightness and structural durability. It is equipped with a polycarbonate window, allowing the process to be monitored without opening the chamber. Additionally, the trap features a glycerine gauge for precise pressure measurement inside the chamber. Five one-touch fitting inlets are mounted on the lid, with selectable diameters (6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm, or 12 mm) when placing an order, allowing for easy adaptation to your system and flexible configuration.
Key components:
- Aluminium tank – lightweight and corrosion-resistant, 250 mm × 230 mm
- Industrial vulcanised gasket – made entirely of silicone, 60°ShA hardness
- Steel lid – durable and leak-tight
- Polycarbonate window – enables quick process monitoring
- Glycerine vacuum gauge – precise pressure level measurement
- 5 one-touch fitting inlets – diameter selectable (6, 8, 10, or 12 mm)
Applications:
Vacuum traps are widely used in various industries, particularly:
- Yacht shipyards – for infusion processes
- Carbon fibre component manufacturing
- Laboratories and chemical plants
- Technological processes requiring high vacuum purity
Product advantages:
- Robust yet lightweight construction (aluminium + steel)
- Easy process monitoring thanks to the polycarbonate window
- Precise pressure measurement with a glycerine vacuum gauge
- Flexible configuration – selectable fitting diameter (6–12 mm)
- Excellent leak tightness and long-term durability, even under intensive use.
